[ii] Students were given the option to take one of six Religious Knowledge subjects. These were Hindu Studies, Islamic Religious Knowledge, Bible Knowledge, Sikh Studies, Buddhist Studies and Confucian Ethics. Although Confucian Ethics is not a religion, it was offered as an alternative to any student who did not wish to study any of the other five Religious Knowledge subject options.
